I work in Learning and development so on any given day I may be facilitating training, coaching individuals or teams, designing learning solutions, communicating our L&D offering or connecting with the business to understand their needs.
Completing the apprenticeship has supported me in stepping up to a more senior role. It’s encouraged me to be more strategic in my thinking and consider how I partner with the business and my stakeholders to make a difference.
The L7 apprenticeship has been challenging in a good way! It can be hard to balance with the day job, but the support from Nestle and from my Line Manager has been fantastic!
My programme is very well structured so I always know where I am and what to expect
The support from our apprenticeship Manager, my Line Manager and other colleagues also going through the same programme has been fantastic!
There wasn’t a lot of support at the start but 5 months in and now I have a mentor through my training provider who I connect with regularly, a live class for each module and a team I can go to with queries.
The qualification is stretching me to think more strategically and apply that in my day job.
Numerous networks including things like Mental Health champions, Nestle Pride etc.

Very supportive of career development
Do your research, consider what strengths you are bringing and what you are looking to achieve and how this connects to what Nestle is trying to achieve
