I am currently working in a delivery services role which includes organising transfers, a lot of communication with the haulier, warehouses and internal customers. My days vary so I am not in the same routine every day, however the main structure would be responding to emails, communicating/organising with haulier, warehouses and other teams
Boosted my excel knowledge. Advanced my communication via email. Lots of networking and building strong relationships with other teams within the business. Developed my public speaking via presenting on teams calls. Boosted my confidence a lot by communicating with a variety of different people.
I genuinely love the role and programme I am on. I work around such amazing, kind, enthusiastic people. I feel so comfortable and content working within Nestle’s environment.
I believe the programme is structured well. You get treated like any other employee within the work place! We have study block sessions to do our university work which works really well.
I received as much support as I need. My employer regularly checks up on me to make sure I am on top on my university work aswell as checking that I am feeling happy with the work load, and also to make sure I myself am feeling happy in my day to day life.
As much as you ask for. Everyone is always willing to help, whether that be your academy champion, your manager, work colleagues or other apprentices on the role
I believe my qualification helps me perform better in my role as the knowledge I gain aid my works!
There are plenty professional networking events that you can go to at work. We regularly have social activities with the apprentices and graduates. There are sports teams to get involved in yoo
Yes
I have never felt so accepted into my role. My fellow apprentices and graduates are so supportive of each other and everyone is always wanting the best for each other. I know that there will always be plenty people in work that look out for me
Be yourself. The best thing to always do.
