Commissioning and servicing systems.
I have become more knowledgeable technically. I have learnt how to interact with stakeholders such as the Royal Navy.
I enjoy my programme although having to sort out our own placements can be stressful, but I see the value in doing it.
I like the fact that we have day release for college weekly as opposed to a full year at the start. I like the fact we rotate through the business.
I feel that I am able to get a lot of support as we have managers separate from our line managers that we can talk to.
Support could be better as some placement managers fail to understand students need a balance of practical experience and time to complete their college work.
I feel like our qualification is relevant to our work, but more qualifications relating to a marine enviroment could potentially be useful.
Yes, there are social events and different societies too.

Do not apply if you are not self motivated or willing to sort out your own placements as it will not be a useful apprenticeship. Not much is handed to you, we have to organise things ourselves. This is valuable as it teaches you how to interact with the wider business.
