The apprenticeship consists of multiple placements over the 5 years. Currently, I am working within Production, Planning and Control. This consists of conducting audits on different areas involved within production.
I have been on multiple courses developing auditing skills, communication skills and risk management knowledge.
It is a very interesting facility to work in, and no two days are the same. You are constantly learning.
Both the university side and placement side of the degree are well structured.
There are many things in place to ensure you are fully supported. We have regular check ins with our coaches and the company itself has many in house benefits in place to ensure you are supported with personal and professional issues.
The tutors offer regular drop-ins, and make it known that their inbox is always open should you require extra assistance or if you have any queries.
The modules we study at university can immediately be put into practice on the placement.
There are plenty of professional networking events, seminars and talks held both in person and online.
