Setting up new properties, accounts receivable and accounts payable, setting up service charge budgets, client reporting monthly/quarterly, VAT reconciliations, VAT returns, engaging with clients and suppliers, banking, setting up payments.
Developed communication and organisational skills. Learnt double entry bookkeeping and accounting principles. Learnt how to manage properties. Learnt how to complete VAT returns.
I continue to learn something new everyday, the programme is very engaging and I am enjoying it a lot.
Structured well, the training provider structures most of the academic learning and Savills facilitates the on-the-job training.
As much as I need. If I ask them for support or additional support they will provide it.
As much support as the learner requires, weekly, monthly, quarterly progress review calls. Good safeguarding team for exam stress or someone to talk to.
Helps you understand why you are doing things. You can spot errors easier and your work becomes more accurate and reliable. Helps performance a lot.
There is a Savills rugby and netball team. There are regular professional networking events. Also regular social activities, we recently went to roxy ball room to compete against the other departments at fun games (bowling, table tennis, darts etc.)
