  • I enjoy the new challenges I face as I enter the start of my career. However, it can be difficult juggling professional work load with academic work load.

  • The programme is well organised as the RTPI APC route to Chartership is rigorous.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • In terms of support for my academic studies, I receive one day a week off. There is some understanding around University deadlines to have flexibility over professional workload.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • London South Bank University provide support through a module in my second year which aims to guide you through the process of passing my gateway to then start my route to chartership as a licentiate member.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I think the qualification provides some additional planning knowledge that is useful for general understanding. However, I feel the majority of the other modules completed hold limited practical experience.

  • Yes, there is professional networking events, opportunities for continuous professional development and social/sports activities.
