  • In my role, I was assisting senior members of the team with the current instructions. I would attend site , take pictures & notes and then write up the report back at the office.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learnt a lot. With it being in an environment where I am surrounded by professionals who have been in the industry for years, you quickly pick up knowledge from them.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I didn't enjoy my time in my previous team. I have been lucky to recently have been able to change team and division very recently and am enjoying it a lot more.

  • the programme is very well structured with a great team within Savills looking after the apprentices.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • in my experience I have received a lot of help from Savills. I had daily interactions with my manager and frequent interactions with the apprenticeship team internally at Savills.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I have a quarterly meeting with my Apprenticeship Outcome Officer in which she is very helpful, apart from that, not as much.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The modules have helped me in my everyday role as I am putting the skills learnt to the test.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • there are sports teams however they are not often, maybe a few weeks a year.

  • Yes

  • Its a great company with lovely people. Its stature in the industry is unmatched and the experience you gain is second to none


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Savills?
  • make sure you learn about the company's values and goals and be able to speak about them. Also have a prior understanding of the industry you are getting into. extensive knowledge is not required, however needs to be enough to show that you have an interest.
