I have , and I have been given an amazing Learning coach that is supporting all the way , that know the job I am into so sometimes I havr issue and she is just so supportive and give me all of the help I require in order for me to learn and hopefully soon finish my apprenticeship
Always looking forward to chat with my learning coach , skills days are my favourite as I get to meet all of the other apprentices. sometime is hard to get to do it but it will be all worth it and knowing that this qualification will help me firther my carreer is a bonus
My Learning Coach is doing her best as at work I have been going through a lot of recruitment issues then changed site during my apprenticeship and went to a bigger site . but we are doing the most we can do with the scheduled catch up. and she is so understanding as she use to be a manager .
With the issues that hospitality is going through , especially recruitment . my managers are trying to schedule as much as possible to give me the chance to get to skillsdays doing my e learning and Onmy side I have as well apprentices under me level 3 and 2 which helps that I know what to do as I am doing one myself
would not be able to do my apprenticeship withou my learning coach , and she helps keep track of it , and she helps with whatever I might need in order for me to finish , and always helps when she tells how she overcome soem issues I might encoj ter at work
learning different methods of approaching different issues have help me understand and tackle the issues in a different way . and through skillsday and Love getting to know the other apprentices and as we are going through the samething and Love that during skillsday we can discuss different approach and that does help a lot
We have deputy Hotel managers meeting , I got to go to a hotel manager one as my hotel manager was on holiday and she asked me to go instead of her , and it was nice to see how many manager s there are , and good to know other people from the network
Yes
I would reccomend it as It adds value to your day to day working life as it makes it easier having the extra knowledge that you might not have if you are not part of the apprenticeship. and skillsday are the best way to meet other managers and know how they tackle day to day issues we encounter
I would advise then to ask other that are doing an aplrenticeship as this will help them grow personally and this will add value and if this will help further their carreer and skillsday and meeting are good to meet other peopke and making new friends amongst our colleagues from other sites that we might not ever met if we did not join in the first place
