I work within the 'People' team which involves adult and children's social care. I help manage procurement processes for commissioners looking to start projects I monitor contract management on various contract types I facilitate and support spot contracting for all adult care providers
Much better at communication and being proactive. Much more assertive and confident too
I really enjoy it - it link in really well with my job so it helps me put my progress (that I otherwise may not notice) on paper
I like it, it's a great balance of independent working and check ins with my personal tutor / class group
My employer, particularly my manager, is very supportive. They always ensure I am using my allocated day a week for studying and check in iwth me.
A lot - the regular check ins are really helpful if I need support
It helps me identify areas of strength and weakness I wouldn't have otherwise picked up on, so I have a better awareness of my performance.
My team try and meet up outside of work every couple of months, I've also recently been involved in networking events with the Neurodiversity group at my workplace
Yes
Great experience and progression
They are a very accommodating employer so express interest in further development / opportunities if that's something you'd like or would help you get a particular role.
