  • Payment of staff at the organisation with responsibility for finance and HR functions

  • Yes. This apprenticeship is a qualification for a job I have already been doing but even still I have learnt more about my role

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • Lessons are frequent but flexible and of an engaging nature. Materials are forthcoming and help is there when needed

  • Very well structured. Everything is planned in advance and there is a clear pathway

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My employer is helpful and gives guidance and time for me to achieve my required hours for study

  • they are always available if we need them and always provide helpful information

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • although it is a tricky balance alongside my 'normal' role, it will be beneficial long term for me and (hopefully) the organisation

  • There are a number of activities and benefits available including reduced gym membership and use of facilities

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • An enjoyable and friendly place to work, in less than a year I have already started an apprenticeship applicable for my role, an opportunity that my two previous employers could not offer as they had already given places to other workers


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Staffordshire University?
  • Make yourself stand out and target the criteria set out in the job adverts. Be mindful of the long term plans and future-proof yourself as a next generational talent.
