I work as a supervisor on returns department. My daily responsibilities are managing workload for my team, ensuring accuracy, manage performance and attendance. Working in projects that improve our performances or enable us to do our work more effectively and efficiently. I am also responsible for the health and safety of my team.
Definitely a lot, managing my own time - this helped me to focus on priorities, understanding my biases - very helpful when you are doing interviews or assigning tasks to your team on daily basics. Also project management was very helpful as there were tools that I did not know about, thanks to those I now can run small projects in my department.
It is very enjoyable, but also it can be quite difficult. We have to make sure we listen to our instructor as some topics that we are not familiar with can be quite tricky. But as of now, I can say that our instructor was always ready to help when we had additional questions so overall it has been a good experience as of now.
Yes, it definitely is structured well. We have regular breaks as some topics can be difficult and our instructor always throws in a joke once in a while so it is a really good atmosphere. At the and of each session ,we go through the topics in bullet points what is really helpful as well.
My manager supported me right from the beginning, I was able to spend time on other departments with my off-the-job hours to improve my knowledge. If I have any issues, I can always contact him.
My training provider is very approachable at any time if I have any questions. I can contact them and if I am struggling with anything, I can just contact them and they come back to me very fast. They always try to help me to understand each topic so I am able to come up with solutions myself.
It definitely helps a lot as the majority of the topics are applicable in my workplace. Some of them are concentrated on a personal level and some on improving my team and department. I think there is a great balance between these, so the programme helps to improve not only myself as a person but also my associates and the department.
Yes, there are some activities we can do as a team. Not long ago our company was involved in a Dragon Boat Race where they narrowly lost in their final race for a podium position. The company donated to them and everyone had a great time as well. Hoping that going forward, our company will continue in these activities.

Yes, I have been working here for over four years and it has been a great experience. I was able to improve my skills and knowledge, make new friends and learn a lot about the company. There is a great atmosphere around the place and hopefully the company will continue to grow in the future.
Be open minded and motivated to join. They are looking for people who want to improve their skills and knowledge, that are open to new opportunities and are prepared to do their best for the company. Everyone coming with this mindset will find this company a great place to work.
