Imaging scientist doing lab experiments and analysing data
I have used the apprenticeship for upskilling and the main skills I have learned from the course so far are coding and machine learning
I have learnt a lot but sometimes it has been difficult balancing work, course and life
The provider is a bit disorganised in giving us information last minute and some of the modules do not cover all the topics that would be useful
Employer is very supportive and continues to discuss balancing work with the prgramme
Provider is sometimes slow to reply to questions but organises help sessions throughout the programme to give help and advice
The qualification and skills I will learn will hopefully make by job easier and quicker and could lead to different/new role opportunities in future
Yes networking, seminars and social activities
Yes
Great employer, inspiring place to work
Doing a degree apprenticeship is a lot of work so you will need to work out how to balance this and decide whether you commit the time/effort
