Overall, I really enjoy the programme as it has allowed me to meet a range of people and work in so many different areas of the business. This has helped me understand where I would like to progress in my career.
The programme is well structured, I go to university every 6 weeks to do a block study for one week. I then have Fridays off to focus on my assignments. So overall, I would say it is well structured.
You get a lot of support as you get Fridays off to do your university assignments. Also, a lot of the managers are really understanding so you are able to be really open about what support you need.
The training provider supports you with drop in sessions on the assignment and also they are always available on email if there are any questions. You also get a work-based coach and a course lead to help you.
The qualification I am working on allows me to apply what I have learnt in my day-to-day role as the information is aligned with my role at work.
I get involved with a range of other areas. I am part of the ERN (Eradication Racism Network) and this is to help educate and support colleagues in the business. I also get involved with youth ambassador activities where you can go into schools and increase awareness.
Yes
I would recommend. You get the best of both worlds. You can get a free degree whilst increasing your experience at a massive company.
I would advise everyone to be themselves and to not be afraid to ask questions during the interviewing process.
