Audit - Visiting clients sites and performing work to give assurance over their financial statements.
Communication, more confident, more excel proficient, knowledge in audit, gaining qualifications,
I enjoy working for a large company and being part of this culture and group and feeling like my work is valuable and important. I constantly get to move around and meet new people and work with new team members which gives a bit of variety to my job
I get recognition for any hard work I put in, and feel appreciated by my Manager and my execs/ seniors. All of our work is important. I also get given the opportunity to perform more difficult tasks which feels rewarding
Programme is well organised - We had an induction on our first week with the firm, followed by time in college to help us get through our exams, and various training courses to ease us into the job. I feel comfortable to talk to my counsellor and my teams for any support I need.
Support from training provider whilst studying at college, however I do not feel like this support extends once we have left college and are back at work but still studing for our exams
I receive a lot of support from my employer, however that is probably more from the teams I am working with. The team members with more experience than me are happy to coach me and help me
Salary is acceptable given that EY are paying for the costs of our tuition and our qualifications whilst we are still working. Also receive expenses from work if I have to travel to a client site which covers my travel costs.
we have many social events, some organised with other firms in the same area so you get to meet other people. There are also many work sport teams that happen on a weekly basis.
