Job title: Associate in Audit. Day to day I analyse certain balance sheet accounts, being professional sceptical at all times. sit in on client meetings and taking meeting minutes. Daily speak to the client, requesting information, building a client relationship. Responsible for certain accounts and making sure that the work gets done to the deadline given.
Developed communication skills a lot. Working towards the ACA qualification with exams in blocks throughout the 5 years. Training courses for audit, developed excel skills as well as how to be professional.
I most enjoy the team and the people that I work with. The teams that are in the office an that we work with on a daily basis work well together and EY culture make sure that we are working towards the same goal. it exceeded my expectations. I have definitely enjoyed it.

Very structured. Organised well by a central team. Help with studying and training is planned out and organised for us. We have counsellors who we can talk to about any issues and we have to meet them at least twice a year.

Good salary, with expenses paid for travelling.
Lots of company events as well as outside groups organising events. Sports teams within the office, playing other accountancy firms. When im not working, socialise with other colleagues and have month end drinks etc.
