I rotate between sales marketing supply and CDT, rotations are 9 months. I’ve started in sales and I’m a Customer Business Manager working in Nestle for Asda Confectionery, getting trained by a line manager.
Excel, Confidence, Time management, Knowledge.
I do enjoy it, my uni degree is from Coventry uni, but we’re being taught by a social business called Wild Hearts. This means that I’m getting a lot of context whilst learning which feels very satisfying!
It’s the first year that they’ve changed the programme, so there were a few mishaps to begin with, but they responded to our feedback very quickly and I feel the organisation is getting much better.
A lot. We have a day-to-day line manager, normal line managers, the academy team and our tutors.
This is still slightly blurry, but we have very close tutors that help us, a lecturer who is very approachable, but I’m not too sure yet about their relationship with Coventry uni.
I feel I have answered this in the above.
Yes, ALOT! There’s a very large diversity and inclusion programme that has streams like ‘one work’ (focussing on sustainability) and Eradicating Racism Network. I really appreciate these. Also, because there are a lot of graduates and apprentices in the company, we do a lot together!
Yes
The culture is great and I feel I’m learning a lot.
Be yourself. They want to change and that will only happen through diversifying the work force.
