My role currently involves 5 days at college, learning skills that will help me with my apprenticeship.
I have learned various metal-working skills such as welding and cold forming.
I really enjoyed learning new skills and expanding my knowledge base.
It is very well organised, so I know what I will be doing months in advance.
I receive excellent support and I can contact them if I have any issues and I will be responded to promptly.
I receive excellent support from lecturers and they will try and resolve any issues or problems that may arise.
It will give me a basic understanding of the role, so I am ready when I start in the yard full time.
