    • Managing two school office teams; providing guidance to school leadership team and mentoring and supporting 13 school offices in a multi-academy trust to improve their function and maximise their productivity.

    • I am very early into this apprenticeship, but so far I am finding that it is consolidating my understanding of governance and providing clarity to practice.

    • I am enjoying it immensely - I like to be challenged.

    • I am happy with the way it is structured so far.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?

    • I am receiving adequate support - I am able to manage my own time and I know that my HT is happy for me to take whatever time I need.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

    • It is early days, but I find my tutor and the training provider to be responsive to questions and queries.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

    • As said previously, I am finding so far that this is consolidating the knowledge I have gained over the years and filling in gaps - which is exactly what I was looking from this course.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

    • Yes, absolutely. As for professional networking, my role as trust admin lead is to link up our school admin teams, and the office managers meet regularly as well.
