From the normal stand up meeting to on call talking about different features that are currently being developed with the team or maybe briefing about a new technology that could be implemented, followed by a support call with my amazing colleagues then lunch then usually working on apprentice work to finish off.
i have learnt a lot of skills starting with time management, also improving my tech stack which allows me to develop cleaner code that can be of use to the company while also researching UK ethics within the workplace.
I really do enjoy my programme, although in the beginning you may have imposter syndrome. Having a positive environment like NatWest has allowed me to feel comfortable and enabled me to integrate in the workplace. It has been a pleasure.
It was structured really well, although I wish that we could see small progress on how well we are doing.
i receive a lot of support from my employer and they are very open about helping their colleagues progress, both in terms of personal development and as a valued member of the team.
A lot of the support I have received from my dlc leader has been amazing.
Progressing at my own pace, never feeling like I am going to slow down or be rushed as I have the constant support of my team and my dlc pushing me forward.
There are many social activities. Whether it is games night being organised or just a night out in a different city with your team, there is always something to do after working for NatWest and you will always find yourself enjoying the night and the memories you make with your team.
Yes
I would recommend NatWest to a friend because the work- life balance and the diversity within the work force is absolutely amazing. Never compromising a staff member and there is constant support. I could not ask for a better environment to work and learn in.
Be yourself and have a strong passion to learn they would love to have you aboard and show them why you would be a great fit for the family
