With my day to day role, I conduct various IT task involved of first, /second and third of support. These tasks involve password resets, to MFA reset, configuring users through AD and configuring new starters equipment on our domain through intune or our other MDM hex ode which is primarily used for mobile devices
I have learnt a vast variety of skills with primary skills being communication between other users, and within my team, confidence within myself and my knowledge within IT. I have also learnt a lot of knowledge within the IT industry from configuring uses equipment how a server works to basic support
I do enjoy my program as it gives me the freedom to learn at my own pace, but with the workshops I can get extra support to solidify my knowledge which I can use within my day-to-day job role, which is why I tend to enjoy the program even more
How do you find the program is organised and structured as monthly workshops are scheduled at the start of the program to ensure that there is a workshop every month along with this. There is a monthly review within my learning coach which allows me to get feedback and look for more support if needed.
My employer gives me a large amount of support with giving me the freedom to have a day to use just for college work with also allowing me to book out meeting rooms so I can focus on my revision and work but also is there if I get confused, or stuck on any of the tasks
My college training provider is in contact with me regularly, either through emails, phone calls or having a monthly meeting regarding my progress and any questions I have or topics I am struggling on. So I do feel their is a lot of support there if needed which I am please about
I believe the course I am on benefits me in my job role as it relatable in topics so I understand everything a lot easier, especially during the college work shops I can relate the theory and core knowledge we are going through to how I work in my work place, such as cybersecurity and GDPR
To be honest I haven’t noticed any extra curricular activities available in my work place, I understand that there is a internal social media called workplace where employees inside the business all over the country share what they are up to, and I understand there is a few online webinars that I can attend
Yes
I believe the department I work in great, I’ve not woke up one day and dreaded working there, it doesn’t feel like I’m working at all. I’m always happy to be there which is the main motivation in staying at Bellrock group so I would definitely recommend it to a friend.
Just be yourself, most people at Bellrock are friendly, relatable and easy to get on with which is the important part. Every day in the office everyone is walking around smiling saying morning to each other regardless of department or if they don’t even know each other which is a highlight of the day.
