  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • Work nights receptionist, entails checking guests in with night security and helping other departments out to make sure they ha e everything then need to furfill their jobs on a daily basis. Any issues in the night we personally deal with unless we need extra support and then pass over the information on BART

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Learnt how to follow CNP trackers and what they mean for the business and why they are needed, I have learnt how to be part of night security to maintain guest safety when on site. Learnt how to follow measurements act when serving alcohol and what the limits are for ABV.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really enjoy the programme, i enjoy learning the background history of the business and how it can grow moving forward, i enjoy learning the competitors business and how we can hold a higher market share and how we hold the market share we do. I just enjoy the programme in full.

  • Its very organised and very well maintained. Its easy to use, user friendly, its not complicated to navigate and any issues there us always someone on hand to help with issues, when tbe site has maintenance it is fully announced, its friendly when coming to any deadlines or overdues, dont change it! It works.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • The support it there when needed or when asked for, theres always someone arround when needed, i can call, i can email, i can arrange meetings when needed for extra support sessions or training sessions, there is always the duty managers on hand when the duty hotel manager is out of the business

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Regular contact by emails, calls, teams, messages through aptem, regular training sessions, support is always fully acknowledged when needed. Very support trainer, please dont change anything! Everything is confidential unless it is a danger to myself and is a major concern, very friendly and supportive threw all needs and helps.
