I debug issues that clients have identified in our system. I programme changes into our system that a client wants. I work with BAs to develop Quotes and requirements for clients. I recently worked on a project to migrate a client to our new system.
I have learned HTML, JavaScript, VBScript, CSS. I have also developed my business knowledge and my business understanding.
Overall, I enjoy my programme. It does get stressful, but every job gets stressful at times. Having a good manager who I can talk to at any time definitely helps.
Quite well organised. I know when my days for going into university are and what courses I will be studying. There are times when it may feel less structured, but those are due to outside influences.
A lot. I have regular catch ups with my manager in which we talk about how my work is going as well as my personal life. He consistently makes sure I am working well.
I have a skills coach who is dedicated to making sure that I am on track to completing my apprenticeship with the highest grades possible.
It teaches me how to act in a business environment as well as giving me different perspectives on how to solve problems.
There are 2-3 social gatherings annually, although usually I do not attend as there is alcohol involved.
Yes
It is a good place to work, with a close team and a good range of different people with different skills and experiences.
Be yourself, prepare for interviews and most of all apply if you think it is the right company for you.
