I repair and scrap water pumps and shadow my colleagues to gain a better understanding of my role.
I have learnt how to dismantle a pump and many other mechanical skills while also developing my previously learnt electrical knowledge.
I thoroughly enjoy working on-site, but I do not enjoy college that much.
My programme is very well organised when on-site, but at college it is run very poorly.
I have received and continue to receive plenty of support in my catch up due to a long absence caused by an injury outside of work and they have helped me get back on track.
I have received a good level of support again with my catch up.
Through my training provider, I have improved my electrical skills, but not much in relation to water pumps.
There are some on offer, however I have not been involved in any of them so far.
Yes
Everyone is here to help and it is such a good environment to learn new skills and become a better version of yourself. The work we do here is very important and it gives me a great sense of purpose.
Be open and honest and be yourself. Engage with the interviewer and look forward to working for a great company.
