My role is to help with any IT related issues or concerns with staff. My day-to-day can look different depending on the problems that occur, it may be setting up new devices or fixing network issues. It’s diverse and fun!
I’m constantly figuring out how to do things faster as well as learning new information about hardware day-to-day, which helps me understand things on a deeper level.
I really enjoy my placement, the people are kind and the support I receive makes me feel very secure! I know I can go to people who care about my experience and want the best for me!
I find my apprenticeship to be very structured as the learning plans and targets keep me where I need to be. I find that it’s easy to see how I’m going to progress and there is a lot of support with keeping up with work.
The support from my employer is incredible I always have someone I can talk to if I have any issues and I find it really easy to be open with them.
The support in this role is unmatched!! I am always able to contact them for help and they get back to me very fast every time! I have never had such a nice support system!
I feel that it helps me a lot as I can apply the knowledge to real life situations. This is really important to me as it helped me build confidence in my abilities.
There are gym facilities at my workplace, and a lot of school events!
Yes
