My role is a science technician and on a day-to-day basis, I prepare and set out equipment for lessons throughout the day.
I have learnt about legislations such as disposing of hazardous substances as well as how to prepare practical things which included what equipment is needed and how it is carried out.
I find my experience extremely positive as they show that they care and want to support you wherever possible and if there are any issues, they are quick to respond.
My programme is very well organised as when the school are on holiday, they have activities in place.
The support is very good, I have regular check ins on how I am doing both on my apprenticeship and in general life too. As well as this, they are adamant that if I have any issues, they are there to help, again showing that they care about their apprentices.
I receive a lot of support, especially if I am struggling on part of my coursework, they make sure to help me in order to achieve the best grade I can.
Due to receiving the best support, it allows me to improve my current behaviour and knowledge in order to achieve a good grade.
I have been able to attend training sessions which allow me to develop my knowledge on safeguarding which makes me feel involved within the training sessions.
Yes
They are a great agency and they care about their apprentices, making sure that they are doing okay as well as wanting the best for them in regards to qualifications and in life too.
Just be yourself and make sure to do the best you can as you receive amazing support throughout the apprenticeship.
