My placement is at a school, so everyday I am supporting young children with either their education, how they are feeling and anything else they need. It is such an amazing opportunity to be able to work with children and to be able to support them and gain their trust.
I have learnt the best ways to communicate with young people, to make sure they know they are in a safe environment and feel comfortable when they are in your care. I have gained a deeper understanding of safeguarding and ways to keep people safe.
It is so amazing, I would never have thought I would have the opportunity to be studying youth support work. You learn something new everyday and I have met some lovely people. I am very grateful to Inspire Ata for giving me this opportunity for a life long career.
It is very organised.
My line manager is absolutely amazing with the amount of support he gives his apprentices, he always goes above and beyond, making sure I am okay and enjoying my placement.
My training provider is amazing. She makes sure I understand the tasks/courses I need to complete, She ensures the online training meetings are fun and very engaging and also gives me guidance on what I need to complete when marking my assignments.
It has given me a better understanding of how to work with young people, and ways to communicate with them and make sure they are doing okay. Without the training, I would not have had an understanding of working with children.

The whole team at Inspire makes you feel so welcomed and cared about. Their kindness gives me so much motivation. They go above and beyond for all their apprentices. If anyone was to ask me what company I would recommend for an apprenticeship it would be INSPIRE ATA.
None, because the team is amazing and very reassuring. and anyone who gets an apprenticeship will have such an amazing journey. The whole application process is very easy.
