My role is an apprentice teaching assistant. On a day to day basis this involves creating educational resources, setting up prior to lessons, assisting with pupil behaviour management and regulation, assisting pupils in learning through further explanations and breakdowns.
I have learnt multiple different skills from understanding resource making software to prompting and behavioural management techniques, to also food hygiene techniques.
My programme was thoroughly enjoyable, I learned a lot and met a lot of pleasant people.
The programme was very well structured and easy to follow.
I received quite a lot of support from my employer and was given updates on my progress. I was also told about ways to improve work and had all my concerns addressed.
I received a lot of support from my trainer to aid in my qualifications from methods on how to achieve certain goals to support when there were errors.
They greatly better my performance as any problems and concerns get dealt with, so I can remain calm and work well.
Yes, there are social events like the summer and Christmas get togethers at the end of term.
Yes
I would recommend Inspire ATA because they are lovely individuals who care about their apprentices and truly do their best to ensure we are okay.
Remember that the team is always there for you if you have any issues.
