Daily tasks differ from placement to placement, usually a mix of modelling and drawing tasks with checks at ship and updating documentation as well as feeding back to senior management.
I have improved my modelling and technical drawing skills while expanding my engineering knowledge and specific knowledge about the business and type of products the company produces.

Differs from individuals, some offices / teams are more supportive than others.
This differs from individuals, some colleagues are more orientated to helping towards coursework and ensuring apprentices are supported, some are more task orientated and do not consider coursework in their discussions.
Academically, I feel I have learned more about my job role from on-site learning and working.
