  • Supporting the Asset Management first line of defence with operational risk and compliance matters. This includes providing advise, answering questions and providing support to the business. Also involves several different projects e.g. capital adequacy.

  • Yes, I have learnt several new technical skills and a variety of knowledge.

  • I do enjoy my program, however it is very time consuming and some information is not relevant to my job role.

  • The program is fairly well strucutued, however having to run two modules at the same time is not ideal.

  • I recieve a lot of support from my line manager and supporting team. There is not a lot of help from the wider business.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I receive support from the lecturers who provide a good basis to complete exams, however some lecturers have been better than others .

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Some of the modules I have completed are not relevant to my job role and do not benefit me currently, although there could be a benefit in the future.

  • Occasional activities with my team and organised networking events.

  • Yes

  • UBS is a great company to work for where I have learnt a lot, made great friends and had a great working experience.

  • To be yourself, research the company and the industry before any interviews, be open to trying different roles.
