Weigh out compounds for clients/other departments. Training on various processes/machines. Solubilizing compounds for other departments to test with. Communicate with team on what needs to be done, or with any problems that may arise.
I have been trained on various machines and have developed better communication skills. I have also become better at planning and organising day-day routines, as well as adapting to unexpected events.
I am enjoying my time here in CR. Everyone is nice and respectful, as well as more than happy to help with any problems that could occur. There is a lot to do at times, which is stressful, but that does not occur often.
My current programme is well organised. There have been expectations put in place since I first started, on what I will need to learn/expect. The only downside is that there is no confirmation on what department I will move into next, but that is not a problem.
I receive a great amount of support from my employer and am very pleased with it. Anything I ask about is replied to with understanding and patience.
I have been given extra time during office hours to meet my university deadlines. I am very happy with the support.
None, my department is not related to anything that I am learning in my qualification at the moment. However, I am sure this will change once I switch departments.
I have been organising social activates along with a college, in regard to the rest of the department, so I would say yes.
