  • I deal with third party flights. I fix problems, deal with cancelled or delayed flights and answer any kind of customer service queries, whilst having full knowledge of the processes and procedures in this department.

  • I feel I am using my organisational skills and am developing my skills to self manage my time.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy it because I am learning new things about this role as I have never done a call centre based role (my background is 15 years in hospitality and management).

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Very structured and organised. My tutors keep me up to date on everything and are incredibly accommodating.

  • I receive a lot of support from my employer and my team manager.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I get an incredible amount of support. I attended college over 10 years ago in Neath, but I never got this much support.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • It 100% helps towards my role as it gives me a better understanding of how the company performs, and what is expected of me.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes, I think there may be, but I am not sure what they are. We do not have a sports team, but I have been out on two work dos in a year to socialise with my team members. We have discovery days where we can have a day off work to give back to charity.

  • Yes

  • Great company to work for, great support. Flexible hours that you can self manage. Great benefits and a great team working ethic. Very supportive colleagues.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to TUI UK & Ireland?
  • It is difficult at the beginning as the 6 week training is an information overload, but it will all sink in eventually.
