I’m responsible for a 24/7 call centre, leading a team of 10 team leaders with circa 150 indirect reports.
The apprenticeship has helped me learn new leadership styles, project management, budget management and strategic leadership as well as softer skills around emotional intelligence and resilience.
I loved the programme, although at times a lot of effort was required, the reward is fantastic as it has helped me to grow as a leader.
Very well structured, modules covered off in face to face sessions with regular virtual check ins throughout assignments.
The AA have been fantastic at allowing me the time to get my work done and for it to not impact my day job.
Sufficient support.
I use skills I have learnt daily and in the majority of interactions I have.
We have sports teams and regular team nights out as well as larger departmental cross department briefs. There’s also the opportunity to attend outside events to support with knowledge and growth.
Yes
The AA are a fantastic company to work for if you are willing to put in the work to make it a career. There are plenty of opportunities to learn and push yourself to be better as well as promotion opportunities.
Recognise the job can be difficult at times and you will need a high level of resilience to bounce back from setbacks.
