I take the breakdown calls from the AA’s customers and get some assistance sent out to their vehicles.
Plenty. I have developed my “soft skills” as we call them. These being how we communicate with customers effectively but with care. As well as IT skills and teamwork.
I enjoyed it thoroughly, my supervisors are and were amazing. I am grateful for all the skills I have picked up and plan on making the most out of my career here.
It was very well structured, the apprentices were made to feel welcome and had plenty of support.
More than enough, we constantly had supervisors around to assist us if needed and were made to feel comfortable enough to ask for help.
My training provider was incredibly helpful and was always available if we needed him. The only issues we had was when the original provider Catch22 merged with LearnPlusUs, due to admin-based problems.
The main focus during the training was customer service overall and this provided me with the skills to help our customers.
Nothing official however there are plenty of friends to be made and people to connect with that we would organise our own team night outs. I.E a bowling night.
Yes
I have enjoyed my time here and think it is a great place to work if you can stomach the frequent unhappy customers.
Be friendly and confident, not afraid of confrontation and open to learning new technical systems.
