My role at the moment consists of taking part in rotations gaining exposure to all parts of Computacenter. We have shadowing opportunities and on the job learning to gain deeper understanding. At the end of the rotations we participate in assessments to reinforce learning and ensure we understand.
I have developed networking and presenting skills.
I really enjoy the programme. It is flexible and very insightful, though there are challenges as we are expected to do internal work and external training by our training provider.
It is fairly structured in terms of us knowing what we are doing over the next year or so but weekly it can be last minute thing where we are location wise. Additionally the way the programme is structured makes it difficult to take annual leave which can be an issue as the company places emphasis on work - life balance.
A lot of support - there are lots of initiatives in place.
A fair amount.
I am yet to see it, but hopefully I can see the advantage in the future.
