  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I assess adults in crisis, my role is to prevent unnecessary admissions into hospital. I work within an integrated team who work together to safely support someone at home. This could be accessing care support for a limited period until the person is over their crisis or accessing equipment.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I am enjoying the apprenticeship, as I am able to continue working where I love and learn new and exciting skills. I am still being paid my salary so there is no financial burden.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It is not exactly what I expected. Lectures are via PowerPoint and that has taken some getting used to. I can only presume that my expectation of what a lecture would be like has probably come from the American based shows that I watch. The lectures are organised and well structured.
