  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • In my role, due to the team I am in, new experiments are constantly being developed and trialled to see if there is any promise in them. So my role is to carry out testing for these experiments and collect the data/results for them. I also work on ensuring that all the preparations and conditions for these tests are in place.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The programme is very well structured, as I have my allocated day of study and am aware of what the programme offers me and what responsibilities we all have to ensure this apprenticeship is a success. The programme also is great because it is structured in a way that helps facilitate and support the needs of the apprentice, me.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I receive a lot of support from my employer and am in regular contact with my apprenticeship manager who always supports me, whenever I have any issues, need help, questions or just need any support. I also have monthly 1 to 1s, which also really help. I feel like if I did not have any of this support, I would struggle with my apprenticeship, which is a credit to how much support my employer and manager provide.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I receive a lot of support from training provider through my tutor and the support and resources that are available to me online. Due to my course, being online as opposed to face to face, I was a bit skeptical on whether the learning experience would be more detrimental to my learning, however it has been the complete opposite and has actually elevated my learning experience in a good way.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The qualification I am studying for through my training provider has helped me certainly perform better in my role, as I have been able to take a lot of my knowledge from my course and apply it to my day to day work. It has also allowed me to carry over particular skills I have also developed throughout my course.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • At my workplace, everyone is pretty sociable, so if there are not lunch meetings/buffets usually being organised, then there are activities that are organised for colleagues birthdays, festive occasions and general get togethers, which will involve activities like bowling/mini golf that are then followed with a meal at a restaurant.

  • 9a. Would you recommend Inspire ATA Ltd. to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • I would recommend Inspire ATA Ltd., as I have had an overwhelmingly positive experience with them and could not imagine myself being better supported or having a more positive and better experience anywhere else. Due to this being my first experience in full-time employment, I wanted to build my confidence and enjoy my first job and Inspire have provided me with that, so I could not be more happier.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Inspire ATA Ltd.?
  • I would definitely say that Inspire ATA Ltd. will always have your best interests at heart and will really do everything in their power to help you, support you, listen to you and just generally be there for you, regardless of your matter, which I think is really nice for an employer to do.
