I work in live services where I maintain current programs for clients when errors or incidents occur. I talk to end users and fix there problems and also raise issues for the dev team.
Yes. I have before I much more confident coder. And my people skills have improved

It can be very clear and structured, but most of the time I'm in the dark about what's actually going to be happening in the near future.

It's a solid job, well paid and has qualifications on offer. It's hard work and can consume your life but we have to do something right..? As far as apprenticies go this is one of the best out there.
Remember the 7 values and show how commited you are. If you're not commited you will not enjoy the work.
