  • I first looked after DB Cupboards and IT Node rooms to understand the process of the project.

  • Yes , how to speak in public, how to properly construct departements with different types of walls. How to get the best out of your workforce. How to use BIM.

  • I emphatically enjoy it. I have had so much support and have been progressed at a fast pace.

  • Very well, the company want to help you as much as possible at the pace in which you want to go.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • A lot of support. They nurture you from the start and identify key objectives that you want to try and aim for.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • A lot of support. They are very accommodating and always ensure that you understand the work and will help with the employer if there are any difficulties which there havent been.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • It works along side it brilliantly. As the training is context based, your using case studies and experiences to help complete and understand the work better. That work is then taken onto site to try and understand it further.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes, we organise football once a week between ourselves which is good team bonding.

  • 9a. Would you recommend Balfour Beatty to a friend?
  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • They are extremely professional. They want you to succeed and they want you to achieve your own personal goals as well as the company goals. I feel very comfortable and would not want to go anywhere else.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Balfour Beatty?
  • Try and set yourself apart from the others . Be unique and emphasise your qualities. Prove them and show that you are serious.
