My role is as head chef I'm in charge of running shifts, ordering food, stock takes and doing rotas I also work behind the line to make sure the team and I deliver high quality food and service to the customers and to meet the business goals and to provide great memories
During this course I have learnt and developed my leadership skills, my knowledge of legislation in the hospitality trade, how to carry out a swat analysis of my business and other around us. How to carry out a pestal analysis to, I've also learnt how to review the business review and year by years sales and spikes
I've really enjoyed the course it has helped me alot develop as chef and a leader and has provided me with information that I wouldnt gotten with out it. the program has its limits as it's hard to juggle work and the course but over all I have really enjoyed the program
The programme at first wasn't organised and structured well but once I was moved across to aptem it became alot easier to navigate and work with the activities and get them completed in a timely manner, with the help of [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] I have managed to navigate my way to gate way
I have received alot of help from site doing this course helping me out when I've need to take time to do bits or to accommodate of I've needed to take time off shift to go to skills days, or with I've had meetings with my coach
always there when I need her help with activities and has made sure we keep in constant contact through our the course. She has has been amazing with help when I comes to web course and skills days, and had alway been there to support with and questions
The qualification I will get from this course has open my eyes to a wider range of knowledge as I've been whitbread all my life and have now got information that I can take with me no just through my career of whitbread but if I course to go else where
We used to have a 5 aside team but as the business has grown and the staff levels dropped we no longer have the time to take part we do a fantasy league each year with the team which gets everyone engaged and offer friendly competition between the team and offers a laugh

Because it offers a great chance to progress your career they are a good company to work for with lots of benefits for the team with lots of incentive through the year and they offer a chance to join the apprenticeship and to improve your skills and knowledge in the hospitality business
Make sure you are dedicated to the job as they will look after anyone who is willing to work and who is driven, they also have so many great opportunities to move and improve themselves as a person and the perks at work help to make sure everyone has the drive to succeed
