-Smart Futures Student -First week was mostly about gathering knowledge and developing key skills, consisted of workshops, team challenges, presentations. -Week 2 was about meeting more people and starting to apply the skills learned during the first week. - Week 3 was the actual business experience, where we met clients, partners, worked on confidential projects and felt as a part of the team.
Great emphasis on presentation skills. Teamwork, business knowledge, networking, negotiating, IT.
The company was extremely friendly and the programme as a whole met my expectations. It was incredibly well structured, as we had time to develop skills, gather knowledge and then apply it in practice.
Each member of the programme was valued. Some people were over-praised. The team that actually works in the firm treated us really well and gave unsolicited feedback. During my business experience I felt like a proper team member in EY.
The induction week was essential for the development of skills. The mentoring system was excellent and we got amazing support from our buddies. Despite the hierarchy we felt valued.
There was excellent communication with the co- ordinator, who was always ready to answer any questions and help us.
