I work with different software applications. Debugging, making changes to code and learning new ways to approach a software issue.
I have learned how to code using several languages that I had no prior knowledge of. I have also been able to further develop my existing skills.
I have loved it so far. The people that I work with are great and I am learning new things every day.
My apprenticeship is structured very clearly; I always know what I should be working on, and what I will be moving on to after.
My line manager helps me out whenever I need it.
I have a training mentor through QA and they have been very supportive.
My qualification has been giving me good knowledge of what is expected of my role, and has provided great training.
There have been several networking events and they have been very beneficial. I got to meet lots of people that I might never have met otherwise.
Yes
Balfour Beatty has been a great company to work for, and the people that I work with are very welcoming.
Give it a go. You will not regret it.
