Manage, analyse and present business data.
I learned how the business is organised. I also learned Power BI and improved my Python and Microsoft Excel skills.
I enjoyed much of my programme, especially all the people that I met and engaged with.
It was well organised. My line manager and mentor helped me a lot to structure my work schedule and studies.
I received all the support necessary to improve my communication and presentation skills. Also, I received the confidence and time to test my technical skills.
I received some training. However, I feel that I did not receive enough for my final year project and the schedule was too tight.
The technical training did not help me much as I learned what I needed through trial and error at work. However, the non technical skills helped me to be more prepared for the business.
Yes! There is a very interesting and fun project that happens every year in the Lake District with all the apprentices of the company. The activities are a fun way to prepare ourselves to perform in a team.
Yes
Because I felt very welcomed and prepared for the market. The company has a robust project for its apprentices, helping them in many ways to develop their skills.
My tip is do not be afraid to feel unprepared to work, just show how motivated you are to learn. Balfour Beatty is a very good place for you to develop and work. I am sure everyone will help you on your journey.
