Greeting guests, assisting with local knowledge enquiries, checking guests into their rooms and up selling meals and amenities.
Personal confidence and ability to work under pressure and strict time schedules have drastically improved.
Learning at my own pace suits my learning style best.
Very well organised with set times to complete tasks month by month. Some activities are a little too wordy or overly complicated for the level of learning being pursued, some knowledge is already expected to be well understood.
Not a great deal, myself and other apprentices do not receive much if any one to one time with our employers.
My training provider is brilliant, I do not ask many questions but when I do she is extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
Better understanding of how things work behind the scenes allows to make informed decisions day to day.
Not really, I have been to one event and that was for apprentice appreciation week.
