I fix reactive jobs at my site every day and keep up with planned maintenance on many different systems which gives me a broad understanding of engineering.
I’ve learnt many new skills throughout my apprenticeship from very basic skills such as wiring up a plug to more advanced skills such as re-wiring ballasts.
I very much enjoy my apprenticeship the people I work with are very supportive and always help me out when I’m confused.
My programme is well structured with each task having ample time to be completed in a safe environment.
I receive a lot of support from my employer and is my first call when anything goes wrong and can rely on him to help me.
My mentor is amazing at helping me work towards my qualifications as he helps me with my NVQ and never has a problem with me asking questions or if I’m confused.
My qualification is helped massively through my training provider as it helps me open doors into other parts of the business and many overtime opportunities.
There are social and physical activities at my work. I’m not involved in any yet, but am looking to join in the football club.

It is a great company who put their workers first with a strong family sense in their teams.
Enjoy your time with CBRE and try to get as much experience at as many sites as possible.
