I work at the check in desks and check people in before they go through security.I work airside and I board flights.I check customers passports and board them.I work in the longue welcoming business and first class passengers.I help customers with questions and make them feel at ease
I have developed my confidence in speaking to people and I have met all different kinds of people which I think is awesome.I’m a more confident public speaker now and I also feel like my teamwork skills have improved.I feel like I can deal with conflict alot better.
I like the programme it’s interesting and I’ve learnt a lot the airport is an interesting place to be.I like helping people and being thrown into different situations everyday. It was quite tiring sometimes but it is very rewarding and makes me feel very very happy yay
It’s organised but it could be better half the time we get told things last minute and it gets really confusing. But the learning is structured and we always know which is very very good.the one to one meetings are fun and are great to know I’m on the right track.
The employer is very supportive, they help answer any queries if I have any and are there if I need anything. They make sure that I enjoy work and if not they get to the bottom of it .One thing they could do better is being a little more organised
The training provider is brilliant. They have made the learning part of the course so easy and I’ve been able to ask them for anything. As an additional needs learner I feel so happy with the support and if I need anything else I feel very confident to speak to the training provider
It has allowed me to be able to deal with conflict a lot better and be more confident to stand my ground.I understand how to communicate with lots of different people and how to help them.I understand about the aviation industry and what it’s like to work at the airport
There is charity visits ,School fairs to get involved in.It is nice to do more than just the job role and to really have a good understanding of the company and the community culture that it has. It’s good to see what BA support and to get stuck in
Yes
Because it is a good company to work for.I never thought I’d be working for an airline but I absolutely love it and love that no day is ever the same.It is constant change and I love the surprises you can face,it is a very good company
Be yourself and don’t be afraid to just get stuck on in there. It’s a brilliant company to work for and you will make a great choice choosing to apply.
