My role is to come in, and start taking out the dirty linen, rubbish out of the room, than put clean linen on, than clean the bedroom and bathroom with the right chemicals so it is ready for the next customer. I emptied the cages of linen.
I have learned all different types of new skills while doing housekeeping, and the apprenticeship.
I am enjoying the programme, because I am learning new things about businesses.
They are very organised and structured with the work.
I get some support from my work colleagues and my employer.
My training provider has been really good. They have put me forward for Maths sessions and English sessions as I am not that good at those subjects.
I’m hoping after I’ve done my Level 2 in Housekeeping, I can go onto my Level 3.
