I manage the operations team in the office, ensuring they are meeting expectations and achieving the goals set. I keep up communications with important stakeholders and liaise with our service users to ensure they are happy at Care2care.
Yes! I have learnt a lot about leading people and am particularly interested in developing my knowledge about emotional intelligence. Since touching on this subject within my training, I try to apply the theories for this to everything I do.
I am really enjoying being able to develop my management skills and be better not only at my job but it is also helping me to develop personally too and become a more patient, understanding person.
My tutor does an excellent job of keeping me on track and motivating me to achieve the best I can, without putting me under pressure.

I feel my ability to manage people has developed a lot since starting my apprenticeship and overall, I have a better understanding of my team and my role.
We attend a few networking events a year like the Care Week Exhibition for example. We also attend provider meetings with the council team for health and social care. Care2care also run a weekly workout session to get involved with too.
