I am currently assisting on the a465 section 5 and 6 and also on secondment to Welsh government for the lands team, working as part 1 claims advisor
Yes, I learn daily new skills, varying from CAD and also daily quantity surveying tasks for excel and also alongside my colleagues at Welsh government for experience with lands acquisitions
I thoroughly enjoy the WAA and the apprenticeship I am currently undertaking. I enjoy coming to work on a daily basis and no question I ask is ever ignored, I feel acknowledged and also feel that people are grateful for work I do.
Extremely well, is a great coordinator and she assists me where needed and anything I am unsure of she gives me a thorough run through of what processes are in place.
I receive great support, my employer help with any extra experience I need to facilitate my qualifications and also, any information I need they are always there to help.
They help with training days, and also study days.
I carry the work over that I learn from college to what I do on a day to day basis within work time.
I am the chair of the sports and social committee, I arrange all the events for the Cardiff office and the Cardiff highways team, from the Friday meet ups to the Christmas party and also promote inclusion within our committee
