I help with the day to day running of the branch. Supporting the BM with branch tasks that need completing. I also support the staff below me with any queries they have.
The fundamental skill I have developed is to have more patience and understanding with others to help get the best from them and out of myself as they are vital in delegation.
I really enjoyed the programme and learnt a lot about myself professionally and personally. The colour insights and learning styles were a great insight to my leadership style.
It was a very organised programme that offered a lot of support. I knew what I had to do and when to do it by with breakdowns on how to work through the task.
Initially I did not receive very much support from my employer, but then I had another branch manager take over and he was a lot more supportive and very helpful when carrying out tasks for the programme.
My coach was exceptionally helpful especially when I fell behind schedule. She was very positive and reassuring whilst being there to answer any questions that I had.
I feel it has helped a lot, knowing myself better has helped me become a better manager, being more supportive and sharing my knowledge to help others whilst also being aware of the importance of delegation to deal with more managerial tasks.
We have quite a few social events during the year, from charity fun nights to just going out off our own backs for dinner.

The company has been great in helping me to grow within the company and into the position that I am in now.
Get stuck in and know that every day is a day to learn and grow. Do not be afraid to ask questions or help as it is the only way to learn and expand knowledge.
