Support worker for adults with a range of needs. Support people in their day to day life's and help with activities they may not be able to do otherwise

I have never worked in the industry before now so I have learn a number of new skills and continue to learn everyday

I enjoy it everyday. Everyday is different. Make loads of new friends and we are one big family

We have a timetable for each quarter, everyone can choose what they want to do each day and can change from day to day and week to week

5. How much support do you receive from your employer?

Constant support. Any help we need the management team and other support workers will always help if and when needed.

6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Great support they will give me anytime that I need to be able to work on my qualification and any help that I need completing my units they will help with

7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I feel really confident. I am just starting out on my qualification so can't say to much at the moment, but the work that I have done and the communication has been really good

8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

We do training sessions and social events after the working day which is good for team bonding

The environment we work is is great, we have a good team behind us and we support lots of amazing people. We learn from everyone

You don't need to have any experience, just a good heart and a willingness to help to support others to be the best they can be.
